It's always sunny at CES.

Well, not really, but Danny DeVito, the film star and one of the actors who have helped make "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" a hit for FX, is scheduled to make an appearance in Las Vegas next week to talk technology and entertainment during CES 2013.

Besides being a film producer, director, and actor (his credits include "Hoffa," "LA Confidential," and "War of the Roses"), DeVito is also a big gadget fan. As part of the event, Hanno Basse and Eisuke Tsuyuzaki, the respective chief technology officers of 20th Century Fox and Panasonic, will discuss where the marriage of entertainment and technology is headed.

I'll be moderating the panel, so please stop by.

I have a pretty free hand to discuss the issues of the day. Yes, I'll be sure to ask about tablets, Blu-ray, Digital HD (the term Fox uses instead of digital sell through) digital theaters, smart TVs, and UltraViolet.

If you have any suggestions, please leave them in the comments. The panel is scheduled for Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Panasonic Booth in the Central Hall.
