ActiveState gets new board members

ActiveState, a company that sells programming tools for open-source languages such as Perl, Python, Tcl and PHP, has named two new board members: George Reznik, vice president of finance at Pivotal Corporation, and Mark Sochan, vice president of business development at SAP Portals. In addition, the Vancouver, Canada, company named Frederick Fajardo as director of enterprise product management, Matt Herdon as director of product management and Steve Schumacher as software development manager.
