What better way to win the heart of your oh-so-techy-paramour than with a truly 21st century box of chocolates?

Well, now our good friends over at device studio ThingM have come up with just that. At least we think they have. Maybe it's just a great job of video editing.

Anyway, the idea is a heart-shaped box of cocoa-induced fun that plays a personalized video every time she (or he) pulls out one of the candies.

"It attempts to evoke joy and surprise through the use of available, inexpensive technology embedded into a familiar object," the ThingM site says of their invention. "It investigates what happens when we put technology in a non-utilitarian, non-game context and explores the ideas of introducing personal, intimate content into an otherwise mass-produced product."

Now, this might be an expensive thing to produce on a massive scale, but think how many points you'll score if you cobble something like this together--especially if you can do so before midnight tonight. Insert smiley here.
