A super deal on audiophile tower speakers
Pioneer's SP-FS52 is well worth its full retail price of $260 per pair, but right now they're on sale at Amazon and Best Buy for $173.98 per pair!
Last weekend I wrote about " A super deal on super audiophile speakers," Pioneer's discontinued SP-BS21-LR bookshelf speakers, but this time the deal is on Pioneer's SP-FS52 towers speakers, which are still being made. These speakers have three 5.25-inch woofers and one 1-inch soft-dome tweeter, and the speakers are 35 inches high. These beauties normally retail for $260 a pair, but they're now going for just under $174 a pair!
The SP-FS52 was designed by Andrew Jones, a man known to audiophiles around the world for his work on the ultra-high-end TAD Reference line of speakers that sell for upward of $80,000 a pair! I've heard them, and they are among the very best speakers, at any price. Jones didn't just knock out these affordable Pioneer speakers, he put months of work into designing the tweeters, woofers, and cabinets of the speakers.
I've listened to the SP-FS52 countless times, and there's nothing that comes close to their sound for this kind of money. Amazon user reviews are similarly positive: when I just checked the numbers the SP-FS52 had received 252 five-star reviews, and just one one-star review!
Right now the SP-FS52 is being sold at Amazon and Best Buy for $86.99 each, $173.98 a pair. On Amazon shipping is free for Prime customers, and Best Buy doesn't charge for shipping. Quantities are limited, so if you're interested, don't hesitate!
