A look at 2010 Audi A3 2.0 TDI

Do you want to know more about the 2010 Green Car of the Year? Find out about it here in today's video blog.

A 60 second commercial during the big game on Sunday made a name for what has been called the "2010 Green Car of the Year," the Audi A3 TDI, which is a "clean diesel" hybrid car that plans to take on the Stateside market as well as the European market. Yesterday, the editor of Green Car Journal gave us his reasons as to why the A3 TDI was worthy of its eco-friendly car champion status, I'm sure that many of you would like to know a little more about this hot topic car, and therefore I present you with a more in-depth look at the 2010 Audi A3 2.0 TDI via this video from Cars.com.

At the beginning, the narrator makes note of how "euro" this car is, especially this new model that operates with the "clean diesel" technology--something that many folks stateside are not privy to. Yesterday's video made a point to mention how much fun this car is to drive, today we actually get to see the A3 TDI on the roadway and it looks like it might not be too boring. At the 1:20 mark, we also get a look under the hood at the turbocharged diesel four-cylinder engine that can up the fuel economy to a whopping 42.7 mpg. At the 2:45 mark, we can see the A3's fluid maneuverability as well as its capability to stop cleanly at high speeds. Do you want to know what the inside is like? Jump to the 4:10 mark and see all the sweet interior features. This video makes a hell of a case for why the 2010 Audi A3 2.0 TDI has earned all the attention and accolades that it has received.
