A link between SoundJam and btree corruption?; Casady & Greene says no

CNET staff
Geraint Rees found that, after using SoundJam for about an hour on his PowerBook G3/300, his drive's Directory became corrupted (btree corruption). Other PowerBook G3/300 users have reported similar problems at the Casady & Greene Forums.

Casady & Greene replies that they have not been able to replicate this behavior with G3/300 PowerBooks or with any other Mac - and they believe that SoundJam is therefore not the cause. However, they continue to investigate. If we learn more, we'll post it here.
