Cons Runs hot to the touch, no power saving for drives, always spinning. No MTP, ssh/scp/rsync, or NFSv4 support. No built in scheduling/cron jobs to USB backup. 2 USB ports. External power brick. Bright annoying blue LEDs. Documentation insufficient. on by wdoyle0447 | Read full review

Cons Certain, impending drive failure.
Once a drive fails, access to data is lost, even when mirrored.
'Support' really means "replacement drive shipping service".
Often unable to log into "award winning" support site. on by mofriedbiscuits | Read full review -

Cons Runs very hot and the fan is close to useless. In fact the first one I got the fan didn't work at all so I sent it back and got a replacement. The extras e.g. the backup software is a bad joke. You can't go back and change the settings. on by JohnSmall | Read full review

Cons Poor, expensive support - AFTER the purchase. Beforehand, lots of info offered; too bad it didn't work as promised. Repeatedly 'removed' itself from our network, somehow. Finally would do anything but spin. IT cannot retrieve our vital data!!!! on by teamCDI | Read full review

Cons Non-user servicable drives.
Flakey software. Says it does torrents. Can't make it work. Says it's a print server. Won't work for my Hp printer. on by fullerjrgmail | Read full review -

Cons My device had a catastrophic failure where both disks were inaccessible. That defeats the purpose of RAID. Iomega honored the warranty and is in the process of replacing the device, but all the data on the device is lost. on by lhcassidy | Read full review

Cons After disk failure, the unit was no longer accessible. Had to put the working disk in an USB enclosure and mount it on a Linux machine to recover files. Essential feature (RAID) proved useless! on by machenk | Read full review
