Cons Incompatible to 802.11b access points, WEP-Encryption does not work on my Mac (Powerbook G4)
Summary I think this device is nearly unusable if you don't have a server-room! Why?
1. The fan is very loud and has no temperature speed control. It is impossible to have this device in a work or living room!
2. Just after testing and testing, I found a small hint that accessing 802.11b access points (for accessing the rest of the net and the DHCP-Server) are not supported! Therefore I was unable to integrate it into my existing WLAN network. Without having a LAN DHCP-server connected to this device, I had no chance to use it with dynamic IP's (in client mode).
3. In server mode: No DHCP server integrated! Therefore you have to switch to fixed IP-network if you need to access this device.
4. After enabling the WEP-encryption, I was unable to connect with my mac!
