I have 5 NAS devices, my first was a IOmega bought >5 years ago and still works well today (250GB). My second was a Apple TimeCapsule (500GB) and though it works well, is a bit slow and impacts networks speeds when used. My third was a 1st edition WD MyBook World (750GB) and though it looks good and performs ok, the network connection keeps dropping. I thought the new version WD MyBookWorld (2TB) would be better but it still suffers from dropped network connections. So to ease my frustration, I considered - Thecus, Linksys, DLink, Synology, QNap, Buffalo, IOmega. Synology and Qnap - too expensive. I shortlisted to Dlink, IOmega and Buffalo and took the leap with this Buffalo - no looking back, it works well and will be adding the 4 bay in the near future. You just won yourself a loyal customer.
