Pros Long battery life. The large battery does make it a bit heavy but I think it is worth it. My classes are 4 hours long that means about five hours of use counting before & after class.It last the whole time with out even using the built-in "eco mode"

Cons The only "con" would be the weight if you can get past that it is a great laptop.

Summary Great screen, large enough for easy multi-tasking. I like the fact that it has a separate number pad (very handing as it is the only part of the keyboard I can use with out looking). The sound is wonderful, even though I don't use it to watch movies much when I do it is nice to have the great sound. Over all the best computer (laptop or desktop)I have owned .

Cons KNOWN DEFECTIVE MAIN BOARD AND POWER BOARD BACKORDERED FOR MONTHS

Summary Really needed a new TV and purchased from Best Buy 40FT2U. The power board failed after two months. It is well known to customer support agents but they dont tell you that on the phone. They give you a ref# and tell you it will be about a week. After a week I called to follow up on part and they referred me to the 3rd party repair company nexcor whom advised me that these Toshiba HDTVs have a defective power board with an extremely high failure rate. They said that after getting many power boards in they realized that this is not the problem because the power boards are not working and that its actually the main board. Which now due to the long back order for this Toshiba HDTV component speaks for itself--high demand or they don't know to make a good one. They give you another reference number and tell you that this is all they can do for you. THEY DO NOT CARE! Please do not buy anything from Toshiba, I promise you they have the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I spoke to Julie in customer relations, she will not transfer you to a manager, she will not give you an employee id or last name or any other way to file a complaints..... I am stuck with this TV :-( without sound or picture yet I have only made 3 credit card payments.

Pros fast and easy(core i3 w/windows 7 on mine)

Cons apparently mine is not the only one that randomly shuts down while playing sims... don't have the guts to call since my warranty is up.

Summary good laptop overall, although i think there's a glitch or problem with their cooling system. i even got a coolant thing to put under mine, doesn't help... even though it's not hot it shuts off... so for general use, i definitely recommend it. as for gaming, look somewhere else.

Pros Nice picture, good sound, and good for the first six months.

Cons WiFi conection is bad, runs very hot so the cooling fan runs a lot and drains the bettery, screen sometimes does not turn on when the computer is turned on, SLOW to start up, and freezes up all the time.

Summary I bought this laptop for taking online classes and doing school work. It was very nice for the first six months but then it all went down hill fast the battery drains way too fast and the cooling fan runs all the time. The wireless connection is my biggest complaint because I can be in the same room as my wife and her laptop is connected while mine is unable to get a signal. I will never buy another Toshiba laptop again unless I need an expensive door stop.
