Pros Everything. Super configuration. Great performance. 9 cell battery gives upto 4.30 hrs. Not a gaming laptop but certainly can play decent games with the help of ATI Radeon GPU. Windows Vista Home premium. Excellent sound quality. Stunning looks.
Cons Some may feel its heavy. Weighs 3 kgs. The keyboard finish is glossy. So after using it for some time, it leaves fingerprints. No bluetooth.
Summary A very good laptop which gives you everything you want. No issues. Gives great performance. A very good bargain for the price. Must buy!!
Pros fast processor, great video card compared to GMA cards. Easy to setup and handle many tasks with ease. Speakers are outstanding compared to other laptops
Cons Battery life isn't that great. Wish it had a media control for music. Fingerprints, but not a major issue.
Summary Great laptop for anything. Handles any task thrown at it. Can't go wrong with this buy.. compared to other laptop in this category, most can't come close to it specs....plus toshiba have great quality products.
Pros Speed, Appearance, Graphics Card
Cons None really
Summary Yes, the keyboard is glossy and collects fingerprints like nobody's business, but it's really no big deal. It even comes with its own cleaning cloth if you really care about the prints that much.
The light bar above the touchpad does create some uncomfortable warmth, but just hit F2 during start up to enter the set up menu and turn the Illumination LED off to solve that problem.
The touch multimedia controls are great, as are the speakers and the display. This computer is beautiful and super fast (especially compared to my 3 year old Dell Inspiron E1505).
The Sims 2 runs like a dream on this baby with the settings on high, and Neverwinter Nights 2 runs smoothly on medium-high settings. So this computer really suits my needs.
Plus, the price is really unbeatable. Try building this baby on the Toshiba website...it'll cost a heck of a lot more than $750.

Pros Nice feel to the keyboard and its fast. ( I use with Verizon's Fiber Optic Network.)
Cons None so far. Maybe the battery life is a bit below what I expected.
Summary Although the keyboard is glossy and can get fingerprints, it has a nice feel. You can order a rubber key cover for $20 which will keep out food, fingerprints and dust if you leave your laptop on the coffee table like I do. (Personally the glossy keys look and feel better to me) I just peel off the rubber cover when I type longer emails, etc.
The lightbar above touchpad can be turned off. I believe if you hit F2 at startup there is a menu where you can disable this feature which will keep the palm area cool to the touch with extended use.
I looked into the comparable laptops and I dont understand the comment that the laptop costs a bit more than similar competitor models. I talked to a couple IT guys and they all recommended purchasing a Toshiba so I took their advice and so far so good.
Pros This Laptop has a stylish and durable Fusion finish. It is sporting an Intel Centrino 2.0 GHz CPU along with a 512 MB ATI mobile Radeon HD 3650. I really like the HDMI and Svideo connections for external monitor/TV use.
Cons The glossy keyboard is a fingerprint magnet but that is no big deal. The touch pad gets really warm though which kinda worry's me about it over heating and frying. This gets way warmer that my HP G60 with and intel dual core.
Summary This laptop has a lot of features and pluses that set it above others in it's class. It's stylish, powerful and seems to be phisicaly sturdy. The only thing that bothers me is that the touchpad gets so warm. It makes me kinda nervous about overheating. Overall I really like this laptop and I've very pleased with it.
