Pros I got a tivo, a dvd player a tv spreadsheet and word docs in one device. pretty cool
Cons if you dont have to move it.. its great but make the mistake I did, carry it on a business trip.. Ouch.. what a big brick. For the money they could have made one rmote work everything.
Cons Bad "native resolution"? Does this mean that the resolution will still be bad even if you connect it to a 42 inch high resolution plasma screen for DVD viewing?
Pros Can play XBOX, PS2, XBox360
Cons too heavy 9 lbs and 2.5 hrs
Summary It will blind your eyes -- LCD TV
Pros Delivers excellent, troublefree performance. Loaded with features/software and screen is gorgeous. No hardware/software compatability problems.
Cons Statistically, it's heavy for the size, but it's never been cumbersome to me. Battery life could be better.
Summary Picked up for $1,800 at CompUSA. Bargain for what this notebook offers. Built-in wireless connection is flawless, never having any problems logging on to my home, office, and various other networks. Great for mobile professionals. Business apps run flawlessly. Comes with an impressive software suite and I added Office 2003 Professional and a few other gems that the Toshiba runs quickly and smoothly. The wonderful screen is easy on the eyes too.
Pros Design, connections, possibility of reading DVD without booting OS, sound, screen, overall quality
Cons Weight (but perfect for desktop replacement if you need space), battery life
