Pros speedy, nice keyboard and screen, pretty
Cons it's pretty light, but not ultra light
Summary I bought the pink for $799 at best buy, and I just love it. (Of course I"m a baby boomer, so it does bring back memories of my first pink princess phone) I' ve gone through lots of laptops, that I've personally purchased or that I"ve received through work. Usually within the first few days, I encountered the frustrations. (Actually the toshibas I received at work made me want to throw them out the window within the first hour.) This laptop is speedier than any I've had. While I"ve had ultralights that were in the 3 lb range, which were convenient, their keyboards and screens were no where of the quality of this one. It also turns on and off remarkably quickly. WIFI works nicely and quickly. This is just a nifty little machine, and more than I would have expected for the price.Updated
I should add that it has lots of easily accessible ports relative to other laptops I've had, and that even when I forgot and left it on all night, it showed no signs of being overly hot. It appears to stay surprisingly cool, always appreciated in a laptop.
Pros It's fashionable and light
Cons You're girlfriends will envy you
Pros Lightweight for its price range, packed full of computing power.
Cons Battery needed to be replaced after one year of almost daily use. Keyboard is stylish, but not standard tactile feel. I'd rather have a typical feeling keyboard.
Pros Price (especially now) is great, the size (14.1") is perfect, nice screen, great 3GB memory, good battery life (long-life battery would be better, but larger/heavier), all the options are there (SD reader, wireless, ports, etc) nothing missing.
Cons For a vaio, the weight is feels heavier than it should. Vaios are known for great battery life, thin, and light. This is good on all counts, but not great. 64-bit OS would be a bonus, but only on their newer systems.
Pros Very quick, i like chrome trim.
Cons There is nothing bad to say.
