Pros Great battery life, xp pro, nice screen
Cons Slows when multitasking
Summary I have not been disappointed yet with this laptop. It is made more for internet use and word processing, etc. Not for the multitasking user. The amazon review states that you have to go with Cingular for the WWAN service, but you can call Sony and they will unlock the internal card for free so you can use it with other networks. The battery puts out about 10 hours w/ the wireless feature off. It's so small that I actually use my old portable dvd player case to haul it around. Highly recommended to a student or businessman looking for a way to keep in touch and run other light programs (word, music. etc.).

Pros I have the 370 version and it performs the best I've ever had.
Cons I wish it had the built in camera like the last model
Summary Overall it's a bit pricy but well worth it if you travel and use your computer a lot! It's my home away from home! Ray Parker Jr

Summary i went through all the reviews before i went and buy it , i read somthing about the battrey life that is not real and that is only 4 hours will when i start the laptob it really was 4 but you can go and use the vaio power management and choice the power scheme , so when i change to save battrey it automaticllay change every setting in the laptob to save battrey that when i got 7:30 i supose that it may reach 8 or somthing because at that time i was already used some of the battrey ofcourse there are alot of options that control the battrey saving so you can have max 8 hrs min 4 hrs it wont be less than 4 or more than 8 i think , keyboard work fine with me it would really great if the light at night , the LCD extra brite reall RULES I REALLY LIKE VERY MUCH, you may need the small bag i advice you guys to get it it even nicer with this laptob insted of the usualle laptob bags sony have a small bag which fit just right for the laptob , the only negative part about this laptob is that it don'thave any kind of CD's with it i made a recovery cd as the dealer advice me to do but still we really need some cd's with windows or other sony programs , other things i didn't like is that they don't have office xpi had to get it from friend :P over all if you are looking for ultra and i mean the ULTRA-PORTABLE laptob don't look further also it also expensive but what can you do they guys at sony didn't gimme any kind of discount, over all i am really satisfied with this laptob and i am using it as may main laptob i don't use desktop coz i usually travel alot and you may want to thing about getting external hard desk i download all my stuff in external 250gb hard desk at yeah one advice leave the C: DRIVE alone don't full it with programs use on the D: for all the programs coz loading in drive C: the main drive will make your machine slow because you boot from it. that why most of the guys people suffer with time the machine get slower and the reason behind it that they store in the booting drive , leave the booting drive as high as you can try using other drives .

Pros Wireless Wi-Fi-less EMail and Internet
Cons WWAN still a bit spotty
Summary I've waited nearly a month before posting this because I wanted to make sure my opinion didn't change over time. I was looking for a light laptop, as small as I could get, that would give me easy internet connections virtually anywhere. Well, it does what it promises, at least here in D.C. To be sure, the EDGE technology of Cingular is as spotty as cell phone coverage was six or so years ago, but when you've got a strong signal, it works nearly as fast as broadband. Frankly I expected less, so I'm pretty pleased. The keyboard is just a bit small, so I type a wrong letter once in a while, but it's way better than thumb work on a blackberry - I can actually attach files. In fact I send myself emails with work files attached so I can download them later if needed and work on them. No syncing memory keys. It's as light as advertised and has been sturdy so far (but I wouldn't throw it across the room to test it). As far as I'm concerned, I got what I was promised, and then some.
Pros great battery life, screen, portability
Cons speaker volume, cost
Summary This is THE laptop to get. I researched like crazy too...
