Pros It's thin, has great battery life and is exceptionally fast.
Cons The WiFi initially doesn't work.
Summary The WiFi doesn't work but, if you go online and look for a solution, they'll tell you to re install/update the drivers using the Vaio update program. Pretty simple and it worked for me.
Pros IPS Full HD Display, touchscreen, quiet keyboard clicking sounds, fast, good integrated graphics 4400
Cons Glossy coating, a bit glare outdoors
Summary Overall it's a pretty good ultrabook; has touchscreen. Lightweight, of the same weight as apple mackbook air, high quality screen, make sure to get a privacy filter to get rid of glare.
I also noticed that the screens in some 11.6 versions of this model have some sort of butter/grain effect. Can anybody check the screen issue with their vaio pro 11.6 Intel Core 4th Gen ultrabooks?
Pros Elegant looking (ideal for business)
Small size fits on the airplane seat table
Excellent mix between laptop and tablet
Awesome battery life and shining colors
4GB Ram & i5 Processor is wide enough for most common tasks
Cons * Only 128GB disk on SSD (MacBook Air is actually 512GB).
* It ships with the failed driver 16.0 for WiFi Intel N7260, needs to upgrade as soon as its out of the box to 16.1.x or higher with VAIO Uptade.(Easy).
* Lacks of VGA output, only HDMI.
Summary With Touchscreen, Windows 8, USB 3.0 and HDMI output, we have a device which was created for those who want to be at the forefront of technology.
If you're looking for a mobile-traveling business computer, wich mix laptop and tablet perfectly, this is the one for you.
Pros Lightweight, touchscreen, long battery life.
Cons Defective WiFi design. Not kidding.
Summary This is a great laptop, with one little catch: the WiFi doesn't work! I find it hard to believe that Sony is shipping a product with a known design flaw, but this appears to be the case. TONS of people are returning the laptops. See Sony's own message board for more information:
