  • "Great alternative, price is an issue"
    on by NateDoughty

Pros Battery, Screen quality, SIze, Weight

Cons Price is a little high

Summary THis is a fantastic machine. It would be great if it were a little cheaper though for you aren't getting as much as you could. There are some other PC options out there that give better specs but not this slim desighn.

  • "Very poor wifi reception"
    on by fugazi66666666666666

    Pros Size and appearance

Cons Very ,very ,very poor wifi reception...looks nice closed with the brushed aluminum, but once you open it:its all downhill from there:the plastic case feels anything but sturdy and its impossible to hook up with my wireless, unless I am within 15 feet of my

Summary I am returning this laptop, which i dont see the need for at all
You sure can easily carry and travel with it,but if most of the time you cant hook-up to the internet, whats the point???
I got an 11inch macbook air instead, which feels better in every aspect

Not an Apple fanboy in particular...just very disappointed to have paid,NOT1199,BUT 1599 FOR A LAPTOP THAT IS NOT WIFI FRIENDLY

  • "Everything except Internet!"
    on by sammajidi

    Pros - Style! very slick.
    - Matte monitor is awesome.
    - fast

Cons - WIFI is soooo bad. This is a very serious issue. I can barely maintain a connection. Most of the time, 56k modems are faster. It's not just slow, but nearly impossible to keep a good enough connection to actually transfer (up or down) a large file

Summary This laptop is awesome in so many ways. looks, speed, size, finish. Everything except the ability to go online.

If I did not need the Internet with it, no problem... but really, who on earth buys an ultraportable without the need for Internet?

I am very sorry I did not head the warning of reviews I read before-hand. I am forced to purchase another computer to perform the tasks this one was supposed to.

  • "Wifi is absolutely useless."
    on by yontah

Pros Looks nice. The screen is wonderful - works great outside.

Cons You cannot use the wifi unless you are next to the router. That makes it pretty amazingly annoying.

    Summary Dont.

  • "Fantastic machine now at half the price of a mac air"
    on by fuku2001

    Pros Portability
    Back-lit keyboard
    Quiet
    Solid build
Solid internals - ssd hard drive, i3, nice quality screen, etc...

    Cons Ultra sensitive touchpad
    Fingerprint magnet chassis
    Bloatware included
Samsung included auto features can be good or bad depending on user; for me not so good.

Summary Great little sturdy machine that feels good and solid, once its setup to your tastes a joy to work with. Havent had any wi-fi issues as of late, then again i might have an updated model;4 gig hard drive as opposed to the regular 2 and 128 gig ssd as opposed to the 64 on earlier machines. Nothing bad to say about it as of yet, i get a solid 5 hours of worktime on this going back and forth on the net and checking e-mails, tried to watch a netflix movie and there was some stalling but nothing so bad that it was unwatchable. A+ machine, especially at the low prices the first series 9's are going for now, got mine for $750 on the net.
