  • "First Windows Laptop in 6 years."
    on by steven_deleon

Pros Gorgeous 1920x1080 screen. Comfortable keyboard. Excellent graphics and overall speed. Nice Dolby tuned speakers. FAST.

Cons Touchpad (I'm used to Apple touchpads). Mode switcher kind of gimmicky but nice. Not a fan of the touch sensitive volume controls.

Summary I have had 3 Apple laptops over the last 6 years after switching from windows and while I still love my current Macbook Air, I needed something more powerful. I considered getting a 15 MPB, but I was drawn towards the Ivy Bridge of the Samsung laptop. The fact is, you get more bang for your buck with the Blu ray player, 16gb of RAM, 1.5 TB HD and not to mention the screen (samsung produces some of the apple screens for laptops). If I wanted an Apple with those specs I'd have to cough up $2500+.

I already played Diablo 3, Crysis 2, Tropico 4, and Saints Row 2 all on MAX settings and it took it like a champ.

  • "Solid, powerful, thoughtfully constructed."
    on by Kochegarova

Pros Powerful, well built, good screen size and resolution, very comfortable for prolonged use, great value for money given the high specification. Good trackpad (once calibrated)

Cons No eSATA port. Default settings on trackpad are a real pain and trying to navigate a new operating system in windows 8 with it to find the settings menu to change it very frustrating. Naff speakers, quantity not quality.

Summary A few gripes, novelty volume touch pad very unresponsive and speakers loud but narrow frequency band, however in reality this is a folding desktop computer so buy some decent external speakers or headphones and just use the reliable function keys for volume control. No eSATA connection? disappointing. Now the good stuff - Very powerful, very comfortable, very nice screen size and resolution, threw several 1080p video editing tasks at it and simultaneously threw 5.1 a sound edit at it, the damned thing didn't even blink it just threw the finished product in my lap, no flicker, no judder, no stalling, no crashes and let me surf the web at the same time, I REALLY like this machine. Hard to find better or even close at this price.

  • "Very popular and i like it."
    on by sathilsau

Pros I already used various product but it is best all of them.

Cons It is very nice and various types of design

Summary I think it is the quality of product. It provide the customer satisfaction. They give guarantee and provide the better service their product. So their product is very beautiful and nice.

  • "Funny how a Win laptop is labeled expensive VS MacPro.."
    on by RTFM

Pros Its a beast in regards to performance. Have you ever hefted a 17" MacBook Pro? Not too much heavier.

Cons Does not have the elegant design of Apple but I would not be buying the thing for looks. For this type of machine I don't care how it looks as long as it blows almost everything out of the water.

Summary If you game and want everything in one package then this is Da Bomb!

  • "Great laptop but need a little quality control."
    on by James352012

    Pros Awesome performance
quickest start up and internet access

Cons ESC key on the key board was installed incorrectly; its slanted.
    weight is heavy
Heats up when in game mode

Summary Overall, i bought this for the price for the performance and specs that it came with. with other laptop makers it will cost you couple of hundred dollars more.
