"It's a good computer worth buying."
on by frp_ciscoPros The computer has a slim design AND still has a CD drive, which is something that I (and others I'm sure) are not ready to let go of yet. The keyboard has a good feel to it. 6-cell battery last a good amount of time, even running multiple programs.
Cons The keyboard has no backlighting, so it's hard to type when there are no lights on. The mouse clickers are a little too loud when pressed. I would rather windows 7 have come pre-installed instead of 8.
Summary As a previous owner of a Macbook, I would consider this a slight step down, but definitely a good computer, and I would buy it again.

"Some Good Features, But With Major Problems as Well"
on by TedFischer12Pros Speakers and sound is excellent. Display is good (although the landscape, movie-optimized screen orientation isn't good for writing and working--but this is with most laptops these days). Lots of ports (usb, sd, etc).
Cons Not sturdy for portable use: picking up by edge, or even rapid typing, makes it rattle and groan; start-up time slow, and closing lid sleep function creates errors about 60% of time. Battery life on mine is c.3 hrs, just using word, outlook, and firefox.
Summary Heavy and clunky for Ultrabook category. Has good ports and optical drive. For really using it on the road and carrying around, more flimsy than it should be, (I feel like I have to treat it gently, which is not what I want to be thinking about when working while traveling.) Poor customer support. Very finicky with sleep mode, and not as fast as advertised in start-up or wake up. Good for some purposes, but for a working machine that gets toted around, I'd definitely choose another.
FYI: tried to post a review to the Samsung website yesterday and it still hasn't appeared there. Have seen others note the same thing, so take those reviews with a grain of salt. Any lawyers reading: could be worth looking into to see if Samsung edits what they claim to be user reviews.
