"Don't be sold like I was."
on by whfrat240Pros Portability, IPS screen
Cons Customer support, warranty, build quality, Sales
Summary Although I thought I received a good deal on my X230 with 3 yr TPP etc. The reality is the computer is essentially DOA in 3 hours of use. I told sales I was using this computer out of the US. I was very clear with sales about this. Now that I have a broken computer out of the country Lenovo tells me, Sorry, your warranty is no good outside of US. "Nothing we can do." More like , nothing we will do. It is quite clear to me Lenovo now has ZERO commitment to the product or the customer. 100% advertising and Zero % follow through. Don't be sold like I was.

"Rebrand of the Thinkpad x220 with a different keyboard."
on by JunkYardTMPros All the pros of the x220.
Versatile
Lightweight
Durable
Fast
Great battery life(best with slice?)Cons I can't see how outside of the keypad,, this is any different than the x220.
Summary Great PC. I'd compare the price to the x220 and make a decision if you can live with the old style keyboard, which any Thinkpad owner will tell you it is great- and well tested. I have 5 Thinkpads I'm restoring for various reasons, and as long as they keep up the build quality I will continue buying them.
