"Powerful, relaiable but expensive."

4.5 stars  | on by mroczny_andrzej

Pros

-Power, this thing run everything I need (ex. Adobe CS5) but I didn't tested any games.
-Battery life, considering amount of power this thing needs its ok
-ThinkPad style (tough cover, deep keyboard)
-Very good display quality
-Touchpad is good

Cons

-It could boot up more faster
-All USBs should be powered
-Top cover gets dirty pretty fast

Summary

This laptop is very good for someone who need laptop good both for mobile use (battery) and calculation power. Though it was expensive (my config was $1300) it pays off. It is my powerful desktop in tough cover and it fits into my bag. Those that used older ThinkPads know ... Read full review

This laptop is very good for someone who need laptop good both for mobile use (battery) and calculation power. Though it was expensive (my config was $1300) it pays off. It is my powerful desktop in tough cover and it fits into my bag. Those that used older ThinkPads know what I am talking about with "ThinkPad style". This is not some el-cheapo plastic cover. This thing is tough. Deep keyboard is big issue for me so that is why I choose ThinkPad.

"backlight broken & repair service not attending"

0.5 stars  | on by comprasatterrabrasilisch

Pros

I liked several things, and I was proud to have a IBM/lenovo quality product, but with the bad experience of not getting the backlight repaired ... what is the rest worth then?

Cons

The backlight broke after six months of use (not only mine, as google shows), the online repair service closed my request with no comment and the phone service just sent me back and forth.

Summary

It's too much money for bad quality of hardware and no repair service, even in guarantee time.
