Pros + 1TB Storage Space
+ BluRay Player
+ Excellent Gaming Graphics
+ 16GB RAM is more than enough
+ Cool running considering the excellent spec
+ Boots up in around 15 seconds!
+ Came with no bloat-ware installed
+ Really responsive in all applications
Cons - Only thing to let it down is the screen resolution of 1366x768
Summary We bought our laptop from 3D-UK on eBAY, who offer a highly upgraded version of this laptop with 16GB RAM, 64GB SSD, BluRay Writer, 1000GB Hard Drive, Intel i7 2670QM Quad Core CPU and a 1GB GeForce GT555M DDR5 Graphics Card.
We paid only 825 GBP which is a bargain compared to other i7 Quad Core laptops. We ordered from 3D-UK on a Friday and the laptop was delivered by Tuesday.
There was no annoying bloat-ware installed and it came with a ready made recovery disc.
Pros Plenty. Boots up in 47 second, including login time. With the i7 edition, I don't have any problems running relatively high-demand games on medium-high.
Also, speakers. They're good for a laptop.
Cons Somewhat noisy fan. The right side of the keyboard is somewhat cramped, and the touchpad occasionally gets in the way while typing (easy to disable). Optimus can also be a bit clunky, along with a somewhat small battery life. Some bloatware.
Summary I replaced a nearly 7-year-old Dell with this. Huge jump.
It's not a 100% perfect laptop. But it's well worth the money. I got a super deal on the i7 Y570 model at $800, and it rivals much more expensive laptops. The cons I noted are pretty minor, and easily fixable.
Pros my y570 is equipped with corei7 2630QM, 6GB DDR3, NVIDIA GTX555m 2GB, and 750GB HDD.. only for 57500 INR..
Cons 720p max on inbulit screen.. bt we can get 1080p output on external display or tv..
Summary after purchasing this.. no need to buy ps3 or xbox..
Pros The computer is great once you get it.
Cons Takes way too long to ship from China because they have to build it and they ran out of parts! don't know why the key code takes 3 weeks to ship since it's just a number!
