"Decent Computer but the AMD Processor is Atrocious"
on by Mattcc119Pros Capacitive Touch Screen, affordable, good keyboard, Windows 7 Ultimate standard, good speakers, biometric finger print reader, convertible
Cons Performance
Summary I've improved the Performance vastly. Going from Vista to Win 7 fixed a majority of my issues with the speed but there is still a slightly noticeable lag when starting up a program. It's nothing to severe though. I don't use this computer for any heavy lifting so the so the benefits for me strongly out weigh the performance problems. If your looking for a computer that's small, has a capacitive touch screen and your not planning on using it for hard-core computer work I grantee you will not be disappointed
The capacitive touch screen is kick ass. I have the touch pack installed along with Bumptop and some other touch screen optimized programs. The computer is small enough to comfortably carry around and the touch screen is not only fun but very convenient for business and school. It doesn't deserve the current score it has. I'd take this computer over an iPad any day. -

"Excellant machine for the functionality and price"
on by gilbertr1Pros Mulit-function pc (web cam, microphone, touch screen, rotate screen to watch dvd or to take notes and draw) I bought a tx2-1270us at the hp site . Great price for 4meg 500g touch screen with free upgrade to new operating system.
Cons Need extended battery, memory needs to be up to 8 meg, video memory needs to be upgraded with no price increase
Get rid of all free offers or let the consumer easly get rid of them with no hassel.Summary This is vast inprovement in my old 5 year old hp pavilion zx5369cl. Weighing in at 5lbs is what you need. Too many campare against lighter weight machines that only function as one deminsional machines. The features that are include are great.

"It's like a Jerry Springer Show: full of issues."
on by RootabeggamanPros At first, the touch screen was pretty cool and it's compact.
Cons Then... the true colors show: The computer will not hold a charge, the touchscreen is not effective and eventually wears on your nerves, and finally, the mother board crashes. (You'll notice the crash when your PC opens to a black screen and the board bli
Summary Don't buy it.

"Don't forget the HP TX1000"
on by WilliamhcPros I think that the only advantage of this laptop is your price.
Cons It's incredible, this model still have troubles with the temperature. HP not learned anything of his errors, this model is a earlier TX1000 with more computing power and a GPU ATI instead NVIDIA.
Summary Consider only if HP offer three year of guarantee with the base price. Check another laptop provider like toshiba or Lenovo.
