  • "2 years a memory and OS upgrade later and it runs fine."
    on

Pros The Intel Pentium Dual Core works very well for everyday use. The keyboard has yet to be damages and the hard drive is still 100% reliable. Being a technician may provide bias, but I've been satisfied with this product none the less.

Cons The only problems I've had were problems you'd run into with any old technology. The memory and OS needed to be upgraded to keep up with current technology. Unfortunately I need to upgrade the HDD because I'm constantly running out of space.

Summary Overall it's been a reliable product for basic and moderately advanced use. After two years the battery performance has decreased, but thats my own fault because I'd keep it on the charger. Graphics rendering is not suitable for gaming. If I had the chance to go back and buy a different product, I wouldn't.

  • "GREAT COMPUTER FOR A LOW PRICE!"
    on by raptor2skooled

Pros The dual core processor is amazing i upgraded the 1gb of ram to 2gb and it performs perfectly.

    Cons NONE! Perfect!

Summary Don't be mislead by other higher priced computers. This ones cheap and works better than those that cost a thousand dollars i wasted my money on an hp the first time and the thing sucked compared to this.

  • "Great for everything but gaming"
    on by Greekedonians

Pros Great value for the price - runs smooth and wifi is fabulous

Cons Short battery life and not proper graphics for gaming

Summary Completely loved this computer until we received MS Flight Simulator X as Christmas gift. Cannot handle the graphics unless they're on low settings. Upgraded the RAM and that helped somewhat for the game, but not as much as we had hoped. With 2G of RAM now, is really quick when surfing the net - no one wants to use our desktop anymore!

  • "you won't do better for the price.."
    on by kirk_watstien

Pros well built, feels solid and sturdy,

Cons shared video, vista running on one gig of ram

Summary This is a great laptop [wish the audio connectors were in the back instead of the front] This laptop ran great out of the box but I added an extra gig of ram and it woke this machine right up! don't forget to clear the crapware! I have seen other companies add tons of crapware this wasn't horrible but aol is the worst and you must delete it! screen is great! keyboard feels professional, this machine feels as solid as the more expensive laptops and in some cases i think it may actually be MORE sturdy making it a great school/travel laptop. once you upgrade the ram to two gigs you will be VERY happy with this machine regardless of what the specs say you can get 4 gigs of ram into this laptop but I'm very happy with two.

    buy it!

  • "Great value for the money"

    Pros Features and value

Cons Still on the Honeymoon, none so far.

Summary I happened to walk into Best Baby before Christmas to check out laptops. I was sure I was going to buy a Compaq at Circuit City, but my inner comparison shopper got the best of me.

They were having a in store special on the ML6720 for only $399. The sales representative said they'd would be delivered the next day at 6 pm. When I swung by around 5pm the following day I got the last of 11 they received.

So far I've been hitting all the free wifi cafes and coffee shops in the Tulsa area and it's been great. It's just what I've wanted for travel, and around the house with the Linksys N wireless router I purchased.

I still need to check out the cd label burner, and record some music and videos. But so far it's just what I was looking for, I highly recommend it. I'm free from the confines of the desktop world, finally!!!
