Cons Poor Quality (Videocard)

Battery life. Purchased largest battery available to get 1:45 - 2hrs max
Poor Design. Your wrist will hurt after while
Summary This is my first review of a countless of purchases I've made over the years, but felt compelled to after this purchase.
I purchased this laptop around three years ago with all of the bells and whistles for a totle cost of $2,600. I maxed out the RAM, upgraded the videocard to watch blue-ray movies, increased hard drive and upgraded the battery pack. After two years, my videocard burned out and was told I needed to replace the entire motherboard as the videocard is built-in. Some much for my movies and to boot, it would cost me an Addl $800 to replace. Here's the kick in the pants, I could not downgrade the videocard as my high-end screen requires that special videocard.
If you are in the mark to replace your desktop and a gamer then this is your huckleberry so long as you don't upgrade the videocard. Otherwise look elsewhere.
Pros Makes you forget about using it because it is so competent and so fine. Really high end quality throughout.
Cons Expensive if compared to Acer but Acer i7 laptop is definitely not built as well as this Dell model.
Summary It is built with the same superb finish as the Sony Vaio i7 but I prefer this Dell's consistent and ultra responsiveness. It cooler than the Vaio too. What more can I say? As good as owning a new BMW or Mercedes Benz.
