Pros Light weight
Cons after 8 months from purchasing, my LCD has some white dots. It is very uncomfortable when the LCD is in white and blue color. I request to exchange new LCD. But Dell declined. They told me that kind of white marks are OK...no problem. I strongly recommend
Pros It's lightweight, quiet, fast enough for what I use it for (notetaking, studying), they offer a 3-yr complete care warranty, so my computer can have a really big "accident" and be replaced
Cons it runs hot, only has one USB port and the d/bay, not the 2 listed in the ad, had problems with random shutdowns and had to deal with the world's worst tech support. I asked - they are all in India. If you call sales first, and threaten to return it, th
Pros Light, fast enough, well put together, everything I was looking for in a traveling computer.
Cons Dell customer support has to be experienced to be beleived. They had to work to make it this bad. The drive was short shipped and the auto adapter didn't charge. It took 5 hours of India phone calls and about 20 (honest, 20) emails to solve my problem.
Pros I previously had a fujitsu b2130 which was smaller but had a much slower processor. So this is definitely a step up in the world.
Cons Getting a human to speak to you from the service dept is easy its hard as heck to find the right service center to talk to. The last time I called in i was transfered 8 times. But good products, just bad support.
Pros Small and light
Cons The customer service at Dell is by far the worst possible of any product (computer and not) I have ever encountered.
