  • "Trust someone who owns it. Amazing."
    on by Ben_Thomas

Pros Beautiful design, keyboard/track pad work beautifully (including multi-touch). SSD results in ultra fast startup and shutdown. Intel integrated card the graphics are impressive, runs Sims 3 more than decent for a laptop. Beautiful display.

Cons Battery takes slightly longer to charge than you'd think it would..the actually battery length is fantastic though. I've gotten the promised 5 hours on a full charge.

Summary Anyone who has written about this laptop has no idea what they're talking about. I've gone through thousands of laptops and this has actually motivated me to make the change BACK from Mac. Windows 7 is just so much more productive. Plus the display adapter is included unlike it's scam of a mac counterpart. I could not recommend this laptop more over the air. Two gigs more of ram, 128 gigs more of hard drive space, bluetooth and a sim slot built in. And a power adapter that can be long or short. My hat is off to Dell.

  • "sleek, powerful, portable, beautiful"
    on by adg1017

Pros powerful design statement - powerful computing

Cons None I've found thus far. well... maybe the glare issue, but I am used to that from the I-phone and my previous laptop. A net plus or me as I enjoy the richness of color the gloss finish brings.

Summary As opposed to the Air, which I've used also, the Adamo feels more dependable and less likely to be damaged [this is a personal evaluation - only opinion]. I run multiple programs for high-end graphic design and it performs flawlessly. Battery life is wonderful, portability as well. All in all, a 5 star effort from Dell REGARDLESS of price. If you actually used both, you would see that this in now way competes with the Macbook Air, and is indeed a step above.

  • "Very stylish tool from Dell. My wife loves it."
    on by PizzleDizzle

Pros E-SATA ports! Super light. Great battery performance. Coolest looking laptop, and they keyboard is fantastic. The touch pad is the best in its class.

Cons CPU/GPU a bit lacking for graphics intensive processing.

Summary I've seen these now for less than 1500. Very competitive price for a such a sexy tool.

  • "Can only agree ... stay away!"
    on by ellisod

    Pros Design
    Size

    Cons Performance
    Drivers
    Support
    Keyboard

Summary I can only agree - and kick myself for not remembering - "never again a Dell"!! The drivers have been replaced three times and are out again two weeks later ... and I'm talking important things like mouse, wireless, BT, etc.! Customer support is worthless but necessary as Dell's site doesn't even recognize the unit's Dell Service Tag number (no one can explain that one to me either). Worthless "support" with all the usuals: Long wait times, no technician knowledge, transfers, disconnections, promised call-backs that don't happen, etc.
    Anyone want a pretty paperweight?
Could use some advice on how to get a replacement/refund.

  • "Absolutely fantastic."
    on by craigfr

Pros Very solid sturdy robust build, sharp sexy flat glass screen, lightning quick SSD startup, multitouch is fantastic, backlit keyboard sounds/feels/IS amazing, speakers surprisingly strong, 5hr batt, sexy, near perfect. Macbook air owners = jealous

Cons Only two usb slots, no SD, volume key is weird sometimes, fingerprints, speakers behind monitor mildly distorts sound

Summary Steve jobs wishes he had brought this sexy beast to market
