This laptop is fast enough for most tasks (including word processing, internet browsing, multimedia, and even some light to moderate photo editing) RAM is a bit low for today's computers (2 GB) but can be upgraded up to 8 GB. I have upgraded my RAM up to 5 GB and I definitely saw a performance improvement. It could have a webcam but that didn't stop me from buying this laptop.
