Cons Price is still high. It is a pro model though, and is cheaper than the highest end 15in before it, so I guess I can't complain. Wish Apple would throw in an adapter for the magsafe. Kind of an annoyance to buy adapters for all my old magsafe cables. on by magicmn717 | Read full review

Cons Forced to max out computer at purchase due to apple making this one of the least upgradable computers ever. Memory is soldered on, battery is glued in, and no details on 3rd party upgrades for storage yet. on by javawolfpack | Read full review

Cons The ONLY thing keeping this from being a glowing 5-star review is the fact that many people, (including myself) are having a lot of problems with Image Retention on the new screens. on by Mathieu1322 | Read full review

Cons New mag safe: The connection is not as strong as its predecessor and thus easily falls off when using the MacBook while charging.
Not upgradeable: I don't fully understand Apple's reasoning behind such a decision. on by jjinalisoviejo | Read full review -

Cons PRICE! Some apps are not yet optimized for the high resolution screen and look even worse than they normally would.. The largest setback for this system is still.... PRICE.... I bought it but this thing is NOT affordable by any means. Over $4000.00 on by thisisrandy81 | Read full review

Cons The RAM is soldered to the board, and the battery is glued to the case.
USB 3 does not always work properly.
Mountain Lion is a bit buggy.
Price (you get what you pay for though). on by ManBearPig1337 | Read full review -
Cons No kensington lock port. I had to buy a separate kensington sticker lock that I attached to the rear. I'm ok with it, because it shows I'm serious about security, but others would find it to be a defacement of their computer. on by lyngenberry | Read full review
