Pros Thin and light, fast performance, solid OS, many features, & reliable
Cons cost, internal heat
Summary Overall, this is a great Mac notebook. It has a decent footprint and enough viewing space aka desktop real estate. I like the overall size and weight of the Macbook Pro. It's relatively fast and has great performance. I also like how thin it is! Nice job, Apple! It has many features and one of the features that I like is the fact the it has an illuminating keyboard. It makes it very productive when working in the dark. Overall, this is a great buy! You won't regret it!
Pros FAST!!, Slim, light, nice screen, fast dvd rom, everything
Cons none that I can think of
Summary I love this laptop great investment will last forever slick design fast, and overall greatness!!
Pros Everything is good about it.
Cons None! The cons are it has none.
Summary What to say? OS X is the best system out there. I've had the best time using one of these, and besides the newer Nvidia models, they are unparalleled in performance. If you get a new one, you'll be impressed.
Pros Too much to list. Front latch sticky
Cons No 10 key, gets hot.
Summary Bought this notebook to replace my old desktop. I'm a designer and this thing handles Adobe CS2 with ease. Now that CS3 is native for this machine (new intel chip) CS is probably even faster. Anyway for a student designer this is a dream machine. Everything runs fast on this though.
It really does everything well. The screen is beautiful. I went with matte over glossy because I didn't like the glare. The whole computer itself is a work of art. I was really pissed when I scratched the lid. You'll want to get a slip case for it as it scratches pretty easy.
The keyboard is small but easy to use, and I have huge hands. Buy a Mighty Mouse if you're using it a lot. The track pad is great but no replacement for a mouse. The two finger scroll on the track pad is way cool though.
The system is rock solid. I've had it for 6 months and had no crashes. Unlike my PC wich was a constant troublemaker.
Switching to a Mac is easy too. There's a zero percent learning curve unless you're an idiot. Everything on the Mac is easy. And for all the die hard PC fans you CAN right click with a Mac! Jeez I get tired of hearing that. Everything makes sense on the Mac. No more tricky questions or stupid pop up warnings either. And heck, if you have to have Windows you can run it on this machine anyway.
Overall it's a great computer and well worth the higher price tage. So stop reading reviews about it and just buy one!
Pros speed is unlimited
Cons I can always use more HD space
Summary This is more powerfull than my imac. I'm running Vista on Parallals. Moving to a Powerbook Mac is the best decision i ever made.
