Pros Bright, crisp screen, keyboard, 2GB RAM standard, battery life, light weight, speakers
Cons Could use another USB port, a tad expensive,
Summary I have the base 2.2GHz model that CNet doesn't have listed but it is essentially the same as the middle 2.4GHz model. I purchased the MacBook Pro to replace my old PowerBook G4. So far I am loving the computer. It is very fast for what I do (iTunes, Internet, Office, Photoshop/Lightroom/Bridge and watching movies. I love the keyboard. The screen is bright and a good balance of screen space yet the computer is still portable. I get about 3.5 hours of battery life while surfing the internet and watching movies on VLC player. I was deciding between this and a MacBook but I didn't want a glossy screen and I wanted something bigger than a 13.3" screen. It was pretty expensive but well worth it because not only did it replace my old desktop and laptop but I am confident it will last me for many years.
Pros Fast; strong build quality; gorgeous screen and design
Cons Runs a tad warm
Summary I've been a lifelong PC user and have owned ThinkPads, Dells and Vaios and never much liked Macs, but this is the best laptop I've ever owned... by far. I loaded VMWare Fusion and all my Windows programs and files work flawlessly, and the interaction between the Windows and OSX environments truly is seamless. I'm downright giddy.

Pros FAST, EASY TO USE, NO HASSEL, NO FREEZES
Cons THERE ARE NO CONS
Summary I can't put it in words. You need to use one yourself. I bought one the day it came out. It is incredible. It is the fastest computer on the market. The size is great the graphics are great. I love it. I recomend it to anyone. It is a great machine.
Pros Fast Intel, 15" screen size, Premium feel throughout
Cons Pricey, have to be careful about scratches
Summary Fast. Solid. Beautiful. That's the long and the short of it. Using Boot Camp is good as well, as I've never had a "Windows" machine before, and it runs XP Pro great. I couldn't need more than what Apple has given on this machine.
It IS expensive though, once you max out the RAM and get AppleCare. Nearing $3k. But with the MacBook line losing points for its chicklet keys and mandatory glossy screen, I had a good built-in excuse to spend the extra money to get the Pro.
There's always a lot of hype surrounding Apple, but this machine shows why they deserve it. It's a constant treat to use.

Pros Fast as hell, slim design, quick start-up, beautiful, comes w/ a load of fun stuff
Cons no lepord yet, little time to get used to one button mouse
Summary I absolutly love my MBP 15 in. I instantly saw improvements in just about every aspect of computing from my windows desktop!. I love Front Row, w/ the controller and I watch vid. Podcasts all the time. Anybody considering buying one, I just have to say one thing...Convert over to the light side! Theres a reason why Cnet gave the Macbook and the Macbook Pro editors choice, theres a reason why Leo Laporte suggests Macs. Theres a reason y their the talk of the town. They rock!
