on by denndenzPros It is an "entry level Mac laptop" with a like feature set of median PC laptops (Apple doesn't make entry level machines); comes with premium support, including OS support and bundled application support with free 24x7 call in support.
Cons Have heard of some chipping issues, mostly from admitted rough users. The service center I am familiar with will replace any case that chips during the warranty period unless there is obvious drop damage (cracked dented etc).
Summary I own 4 PCs and 4 Macs currently. Have spent too many hours fixing and reinstalling windows on the PCs and have never had to reinstall the Mac OS on any of the Macs. I am a Mac expert user and a PC expert user since 1990. The macs have been painless in comparison to the Windows machines. Get with the program and realize it is the experience you are buying not the hardware. Intel, Seagate, NVidia, and all the other suppliers make the hardware, it's about who puts it together in a quality design, with reliability and usability/the customer first. You can buy a Honda vs a Chevy. One costs more and literally keeps you on the road and out of the shop, the other doesn't and they know it and like seeing again so they can charge you for the reinstalls later.

Cons THE BATTERY, THE BATTERY I hate It , why they make it nonmovable, I know that it's got longer life but, it's still having the same problem with iPhone, I can't imagine that a laptop doesn't have a removable battery as much as cell phone !

Summary I love this laptop because it has the performance that I want in a laptop. I have looked at the pc laptops but could not find one that worked like this one. I have had other Apple laptops but this is the best so far!
