"Lightweight and powerful, perfect for travel"
on by blasherPros Light Weight
Surprisingly Fast and Powerful
Love the SSD Speed
Thunderbolt can also be used for HDMI or RJ45 Ethernet with adapter- cool!
The screen is bright, crisp and clear
OS XCons Battery doesn't last as long as the 13" Air, but then there is also no space for a larger battery.
Summary Initially I was going to get a new iPad 3 with keyboard, but I wanted to do a bit more than an iPad can do, but not anything that would require the power (or heft) of a Pro. So I decided to give the Air a look. I was torn between the 11" and 13" screen and went with the 11" with i7, 256GB HD and 8GB RAM. It's the perfect size for travel and has way more power and speed than I expected... and it's so light The screen works well for mail, word processing, graphics, etc, and is the perfect size for movies. I'm very happy with this 11" Air.
I have also ordered a HyperJuice 2 external battery that can power the Air for "up to 50 hours" and also can charge my iPhone at the same time. -

"Never have I had a more intuitive computer experience."
on by mjgwayPros Computer runs smoothly, quietly and rarely gets warm. The size is compact without becoming cramped. Many features are adjustable--even the brightness of the keyboard backlight. And typing is an absolutely breeze.
Cons A smaller or less apparent bezel would be appreciated, though this does not detract from the experience and can just be personal preference. The fact that my only complaint is about the bezel should show you how content I really am, frankly.
Summary Honestly, it has been difficult to put this computer down. Years ago my mother owned a MacBook Pro that I used on occasion. To my great pleasure, so much has been added, tweaked and otherwise improved during my hiatus from Apple products that it seems as though every time I open this laptop I learn of some great new function or stride toward intuitive computer use. The experience is fun, vibrant and... currently explorative. For those of you who are searching for a light, portable computer for tasks that aren't too technically demanding, I highly recommend this computer. It is likely not optimal for any sort of gaming or film editing experience due to its relatively small screen, though chances are you don't need me to tell you that.
If you are a student or simply a person in need or a laptop fit for travel, then this is certainly what you are looking for. -
