Summary This computer is perfect for basic, everyday computing. It's extremely portable, sometimes I carry on my bag, and I don't even notice is there. Although is light and portable, it has the right amount of computing power. I even sometimes find myself not only doing school work on this, but also bring it to the office, to do my work on it, since the computer at work is so old.

If you're used to a 13" size trackpad(macbook pro/air 13") the 11" can feel a bit cramped.Summary I have used a 13" Air (2010 model) and a fully upgraded 13" Pro (2011 model) and I just bought this 11" model to bring to school. If you plan on storing days worth of media on this little computer I would recommend the pro, but if you're looking for something that is super portable(I hate having the weight of a full size laptop in my bag+books+notebooks, and I just couldn't stand using a netbook with a smaller keyboard and smaller specs) this is the laptop for you...highly recommend that you go in to the apple store before you buy so that you know what you're getting...
So after about a week of using this at work and school I've found that the advertised 5 hrs. battery life is a fair assessment. It's just not enough for how I use it. I have since taken it back to the Apple Store and traded it in for the 13" which offers 2hrs. more of battery life. The size is a bit much, but the trade off in battery life is better for me...
