Pros -Fastest boot time I've ever seen
-Does everything I need in a computer
-Great touchpad and keyboard
-Screen quality isn't washed out like the $250 Samsung Chromebook
Cons -Short battery life
-Warm after long periods of use
Summary Great computer for home use. Have yet to run into anything it couldn't do. It definitely helps having an HP Printer with ePrint capabilities. It seamlessly works with Google Cloud Print. Chrome Remote Desktop even makes it possible to get work done while I'm at home. Great purchase at $200.
Pros easy to use. if you use chrome or gmail it is worth it. I am a lawyer who knows nothing about programming etc. but find this a very useful machine
Cons Needs more apps. Battery life is fine except during super-storms I can plug it in at home.
Summary Buy it you won't regret it if you know what you need.

Pros None that I can think of
Cons Loses its operating system
Summary I would not ever buy another Acer product or a product with Google as its primary.
Pros Fires up fast.
Plenty of storage.
Great for taking into a wi-fi hotspot and taking care of biz.
Built well for the price.
Good quality LCD screen.
Plenty of USB ports.
HDMI port and others.
Cons Mouse pad takes some getting used to.
Limited to apps.
Can't watch my Quicktime movies.
Summary I am very pleased with the Acer C7. I haven't had a single problem with it so far. It appears that I'm getting 5 hours of battery life consistently, which is a tad more than predicted. To me, the lower battery life is a good trade off considering the plusses over the Samsung model.
It's so funny to read all these reviews written by people that act as though they would rather scoop dog poop barehanded than touch an Acer product. They always tout the Samsung Chromebook in what's supposed to be Acer Chromebook reviews. Well...I bought a lower end Samsung phone ($89.00) and it came with a browser that that won't even let you access the account that you are using the phone with. Almost all sites you visit will cause a popup to appear telling you that you don't have the memory to access the site. This is with an 8 gig micro sd card. Brand new and the phone would shut down when you closed the slider. I had to shim the battery with a piece of cardboard to keep that from happening. A minute and a half to send a 50k picture...if it sends the picture at all. I could go on and on. The last thing I want is another low end Samsung item.
So...anyhoo...my advice is that if money is a concern and you want an item that functions very well for the price, buy the Acer C7.
Pros -Ease of Use
-Upgradeable v. Samsung
-Ethernet Port is important for certain places
-Easy to work on and upgrade SSD and DDR RAM
Cons -Battery Life is less than Samsung version (but battery is changeable); Battery life is still good.
-Cooling Fan and Bottom Heat (much better than my MACBOOK PRO, which will burn)
Summary I am very pleased with this computer. I'll bet many people could buy this computer and function on it perfectly towards the completion of an undergraduate degree and especially high school.
My wife and daughters absolutely love its simplicity, and I do as well. Amusingly, one Macbook Pro is no longer being used in this house, and that's a $1600.00 difference.
While it will not replace my desktop/laptop for video editing, music writing via Sibelius, and some other functions, it is the perfect computer for web browsing, document drafting via Google Document, checking email.
If you are experimenting with Google's Chromebook, I would recommend starting here until the newer versions come out in the fall of 2013.
