How to schedule your volume levels in Windows

This app will lower the volume of your last music-blasting session, preventing that "jumping out of your skin" shock experience at next use.

Time can be a difficult thing to keep track of when you're at your computer listening to music or playing a game. Sometimes you don't realize how loud the audio is and whether it's disturbing the people living with you or next to you. Volume Concierge is a simple and small app that can adjust your system's audio level at set times so you don't have to worry about it. Read on to learn how to set it up.

Step 1: Download and install Volume Concierge.

Step 2: The program should run automatically after installation. If not, open it from your start menu by typing Volume Concierge into the search area and clicking on the program from the list that appears.

Step 3: Click on Add New Volume Rule in the bottom-right corner of the window.

Step 4: To edit a new rule, you'll need to enable it. Click where it says Off to toggle the rule On.

One-time step: If this is your first time running the app, you will be required to register before adjusting any rule settings. Registration is free and quick, and you can (and probably should) uncheck the box to avoid spam mail.
