How to reset e-mail notifications for most popular Web services

Web services are great, but after a certain point, notifications become more trouble than they're worth. Notification Control is a simple site that lets you reset your notification settings in one quick session.

Once you've hit a half dozen or so Web services, you may start to notice a cluttered inbox, as each feels the need to contact you multiple times daily or weekly.

Telling any one of them to can it won't help the larger problem, so often we just grumble and wear out our Delete button. Notification Control is a sleek, simple site that lets you reset notifications from many popular Web services. Here's how to use it:

  1. Point your browser to Notification Control.

  2. Click the name of any service you want to reset. A new tab should open.
  3. Step 2: Select Web service.
    Step 2: Select Web service.
  4. Sign in, if you haven't already, and then choose your new e-mail settings.

  5. Close the tab and repeat until you're done.

That's all there is to it. It's a simple, well-executed idea.
