CNET's how-to maven joins Always On

Watch out for fresh DIYs, hacks, and how-tos on the first season of Always On.

Chris Tow/CNET

I've modded my phone , turned string into a tripod , and DIY'd a stylus with pantry items. I prefer concocting a SmartCover to buying one off the shelf. And, now I'm bringing a fresh set of how-tos, DIYs, and life hacks to Always On.

Alongside Molly's torture testing, unboxings, road tests, and more, I'll offer up the guides and tools that make the tech in your life awesome. And, in tandem, I'll share tidbits about the science, networks, and little tiny elves that make your gadgets work.

Hey, they don't call me Lady MacGyver for nothin'.

From hands-on projects you can accomplish in minutes to improving the ecosystem in which your gadgets reside, every how-to will leave you feeling a bit more savvy about the tech that (usually) makes our lives a whole lot better.

As the Always On premiere approaches, I'm so excited to share my how-tos with you. Until the first episode airs on Tuesday, June 19, at 11 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET, sit tight, and check out some of my previous hacks to get a taste of what's to come.
