Cons $600 price is high but competitive with SLI set ups
Summary It seems like the only bad thing CNet has to say against the card is that it does not support DX10 and Vista. But there are currently no cards on the market that support DX10. The card outperforms or equals SLI/Crossfire set ups that cost much more and it uses less juice to do so. Less money, more performance, lower power consumption and the possibility of quad SLI in the future. Yes the GX2 is not perfect but it is pretty damn good. Unless CNet is really recommending to buy nothing and wait, I think Nvidia did a good job on this one.

Summary ati's highest card regardless in crossfire mode or whatever it's called doesn't outperform the highest nvidia cards in sli mode.

Cons Price, new technologies are on the horizon for Vista, which will leave this card obsolete in a few months.
Summary My friend has this card and, yes games do look better with this than anything else I have seen (on 1600x1200 Res). But I realized that unless you want to have the best card on the block, it is fairly worthless to upgrade to this card (unless your rich!). I know in a couple of months ATI and Nvidia will HAVE to release cards dedicated for Vista, and this card will just become a waste (almost $600-$1200 CAD lost, depending on configuration). So the best option would be to wait the extra months and really have the best toy on the block!

Cons None so far.
Summary I like to game and I coupled the 7950 GX2 with Intel Core Duo 6600, 2 GB 800MHz ram and the PC runs flawlessly. For the gaming performance test in (Company of Heroes)the Card gets a "great" rating. I don't know alot about Direct X10 but for every game on the market now its a great buy.
