Pros Fast as heck with all the eye candy turned on.
Cons As all new high end cards, expensive.
Summary CNet reviewers on crack? Every single hardware site out there got great results in Far Cry, only CNet did not.Check them drivers folks.
NVIDIA breaks the vaporware cycle with immediate availability. That means no pre orders and price gouging. This is a better card in every single way erformance, features, future proofing and power consumption.Rejoice! Gaming cards just got better.
In the real word this is as good as we can get.ATI will now hopefully do the same maybe with an even better card. And the end user will benefit from the price and feature war.
Not enough games take advantage of it? Too expensive? You don't like it? Stick with IGP.
Pros Faster than the 6800 Ultra, lower power requirements.
Cons Expensive, few games support the special features, Games need "profiles" to run at SLI speed
Summary Clearly this card is aimed at the ultra rich, I don't know anyone who owns a $600 videocard. Nvidia and ATI keep coming out with these high end cards with all these special features, but the companues don't even write support for them. ANd ATI's dual gfx card solution, Crossfire, is better because it will work with ANY game that supports OpenGL/Direct X. Nvidia needs to see a games "profile" in order to run using SLI, and if nobody wrote one, you are SOL.

Pros Out performs ALL others, in ALL games, at ALL settings, in ALL areas!
Cons none so far.
Summary I have had my 7800 GTX for 3 weeks now and have it on SLI platnum and OC. I liked the features from ASUS so I went with their card. Ive tested many, many, GPUs and the G70 far exceeds them all. Now that the price is down between $450 and $500 this card is well worth the money. The cnet review is a "FAR CRY" from what others and myself have found. Experts have anylized the r520(Radeon x1800 xt)(hardwareanalysis) archetecture and feel that you are better off NOT waiting for the r520 @ $600! Becuase the 7800GTX will out perform it anyway. Cnet needs to re-test the retail version of the card.. 7.8 is way low.
Others who OWN this card need to write some reviews here.Updated
I have owned this card(ASUS)+SLI for 3 wks and feel the 7.8 rating does it an injustice.
Pros NVIDIA was ready with this one. It does what they say.
Cons Expensive (but worth it)
Summary This thing is amazing! What else can I say?
Pros Very powerful, new shader technologies.
Cons Expensive, will not be as powerful as the r520, most games dont support the new HDR and doesnt do dx9 properly.
Summary This is a great card if you have enough money, but i would advise you to wait for the ATI r520.
