"apart from the price nice"
onSummary got it for 270 euros from ebay, no problems so far, all games run similar to ti4200 at 1280 with all features enabled plus the versatile dual/triplehead features

"NOT 3 Monitors (BEWARE)"
onSummary I was enchanted by the 10Bit color and the Triple-Head support. I purchased the Parhelia even though I read countless articles on how it underperformed in 3D gaming. However, my biggest problem with this board is that Matrox markets it as a 3 monitor solution for professionals when in fact it is really only a two-monitor solution. In order to use all three monitors you have to "Stretch" one adapter across them. This means that Windows thinks you only have one adapter... Horrible... What I needed was a card that would make Windows see three separate adapters so that each screen could have a separate resolution. As for the "Surround Gaming"... Garbage. Sorry Matrox... I love you guys but this isn't what I was looking for...

"Great and Unique Card"
onSummary Don't be fooled by the brain-dead game addicts' comments of the Matrox Parhelia. This card has more than enough 3D performance for any game or CAD/DCC application you may want to use. No other card on the market will offer you so many features and top of the line image quality, three monitor support is just out of this world. Wether you use this feature to play games or to improve your productivity you will never want to go back. If you are into video editing or 3D animation this card is the only solution that will let you use two monitors and a TV to preview your video or 3D renderings. If you are into trading stocks this card will make you a faster trader! You will be hard pressed to find any other card that is certified for CAD and DCC applications in this price range as well. It's also nice to know that Matrox tech support is the best in the industry and very responsive in case you encounter any problems with the drivers.

"Best Card Ever"
onSummary Majority of the time I spend running 2D apps. This is the quickest and highest image quality card ever. For fun times, nothing compares to Surround Gaming. I dare you to try it once.

"The best for 2D & 3D Workstations, and even gaming!"
onSummary Unsurpassed image quality, TripleHead is amazing for photo editing, CAD work, video editing, and gaming. The best features and more than enough performance for the price. Too much to say about this card and not enough time.

"It's 1/10000000 of a second too slow!"
onSummary This card was not worth it! Yeah it's more reliable than any other brand I ever had, but it can't even cook my rice! The DVI connector can't even fit in my RCA input on my TV! Worse of all, it doesn't have drivers for my DOS 2.11! I thought it would be a great upgrade for my 286 but I had to shove it into my video slot cause it wasn't even lined up right! I'm just not happy! I had to buy a whole new system! I tried loading the drivers on but they just sat there on the steering wheel. I still don't understand how the CD would make reach the pedals! I'm just furious! I feel like these other people who got ripped off!

".NET sucks... This is a marketing scheme with scheme with Microsoft!"
onSummary I own a Matrox 450eTV, wich is great for video capture on a budget. It does what it's supposed to do. If I wanted a minimum of gaming performance, I'd go for an NVidia based product. Low cost and high quality (especially ASUS and MSI). I don't think Matrox will be half as much efficient at publishing new drivers for the best gaming support...

"Not up to all the hype"
onSummary I bought the card for 3DSMAX work and dual display in MAX. The OpenGL driver constantly crashed my computer and the Direct 3D performance was very slow compared to all the computer magazine reviews.
-
"YEAH ITS NICE BUT..."
onSummary I mean ur paying 300+ bucks for a card thats similar to the g4ti4200 power.... Unless u really want that 3 monitor display...(which doesnt work on all games), go for a cheaper ti4200
-
"speed not that great for todays games"
onSummary The Parhelia is a bit slower than today's GeForce 4 cards. What does that say when the next-gen cards come out in a month? ATi's Radeon 9700 Pro already CRUSHES the GeForce 4 Ti 4600, and leaves the Parhelia gasping for air. Wait until Nvidia strikes back....
-
"XP only"
onSummary Only supports analog monitors in 3 monitor mode. The forced use of .NET is bogus if you want to avoid MSFT's new world order.

"Maxtor has an very good reputation"
onSummary I Bought two Hard drives from a Dulas Computer show which turned out to be trash 'They sent me new ones I bouht itnfrommmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' '''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' '''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''';;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;

"2nd Best for Now ..."
onSummary 2nd best for now behind the Ti4600 line of cards. Wait till the Radeon 9700 blows up on the scene ...
-
"TOO PRICY FOR THE CARD"
onSummary The price is too high for the card, they are going to have hard time to compete with G4-FORCE TI-4600 which has better quality
