Pros It is an over-all good card.
Cons Doesn't perform as advertised. I just puchased 2 9800XT cards 6 months ago on the information from ATI that these were the best cards for future games. Now, they are coming out with a new card. Thought I already bought the best card just 6 month's ago? $1
Pros Pretty quick on most games. Easy overclocking.
Cons PRICE IS WAYYYYY TO HIGH. Not worth it especially since the new geforce 6800 will way out perform it. I am pissed i bought this can't return cause i lost the frequin packaging. DON'T BUY
Pros Ummm.....not much other than they may be faster than nVidia cards.
Cons Pathetic drivers (again!). Have Linux? Too bad! Have a Pentium 4 with WinXP as the OS? Your in for a treat! Downloaded 3 different drivers from ATI's site, and 1 from Microsoft....all made the card work...for a whopping 10 minutes! Checked to see if
Pros Great graphics with latest catalyst drivers and new pixelshaders. Will serve for many future games (think HL2 and Doom 3) with its massive 256mb VGA memory. Blows the GeForce cards out of the water with its better reliability (trust me I've had both bef
Cons Price (go to pricewatch I got mine for $440 built by ATI, full version OEM)
Pros Graphics are good as long as the drivers and control panel aren't locking up games and shutting down Windows during DVD playback. And don't expect any of their "tech support" people to be any help because they're as worthless as the card itself.
Cons Unstable and unreliable unless you're not accessing any 3D graphics. If you play games, you have to dummy the settings down so much that a cheaper 128MB card would work a lot better. This is the second ATI piece of garbage graphics card I've owned, and
