"good, for older computers without PCI-e"
on by kcihtred2Pros price, easy to install
Cons slow, but good for PCI
Summary Its a good graphics card for its price, and at the time i bought it, it was the best out there! It was for my T4010, which only has PCI slots and was a major upgrade over the Intel Extreme Graphics 2. I needed it for its tv tuner and for the pixel shader for Star Wars: Best of PC

"10 out of 10 for the money so shut up you ignorant haters"
on by winchester555Pros For those of us limited to PCI it will be hard to find a better card for the money
Cons PCI is slower but some of us are stuck with it
Summary I picked this card up for about 80 bucks at Best Buy for my girlfreind's desktop so she could better enjoy Sims 2 her favorite game ever. I've even tried Half-Life 2 and Far Cry ( 2 games that will easily overpower lesser cards) on her machine (2.5 Ghz, 1024MB) on with this lower end card. They both ran comfortably at 1024 with mid level graphics. For the money that is great. I don't know why so many ranked this card so low. They prob. don't realize how riduclously cheap $80 is for a video card. If they were expecting to run the newest games with one of the cheapest cards run in a PCI slot and expected perfect results well they had seriously flawed expectations. I can only assume that these expectations were based on shere ignorance and therefore their ratings should be removed. One guy even suggested not installing the drivers!

"You get what you pay for"
on by iamsazPros Easy to install
Cons Game crashes over and over
Summary I purchased this card after playing the online game called Second Life. Sadly, there was no improvement in the game whatsoever and I would have been better off sticking with my onboard graphics instead. I will purchase either the nvidia 7600GT or the 7900GT instead. These run significantly better with that game. Very disappointing.

"waste of money"
on by aishaguyPros ok graphics
Cons had a better card
Summary This card was a waste of 100 bucks. I thought that directX 9 capable and 256 MB meant this card was great. However, the graphics capable from this card are worse than my former nVidia MX4000 64 MB card, which I got for 40 bucks less a YEAR ago. My old card had a great anti-aliaser, this card doesnt even have one it seems. Don't buy this card, because 100 dollars is to much to drop on a card thats worse than a 60 dollar one.
