"Not for Warcraft"on by plugsly
Pros Cheap and great for solitaire
Cons Heats up too much
Summary This card cannot be used to play World of Warcraft. I am a high user of graphics cards but not shoot-em-up games. A big WOW fan and my
ATI Radeon 9200 card hasjust fried.
Pros None - Don't waste your money!
Cons Graphics Acceleration Abysmal, Terrible Tech Support, Packaged Software Isn't Compatible w/ Card
Summary I am not a crazy video gamer. I bought this card to take the load off my processor when editing videos, pictures and watching DVD's etc. I'm running a P4, 2.4 ghz, 2 gig DDR-SDRAM ,XP Professional system which isn't at all too shaby w/ a 4X AGP slot. After installation of the card, my system periodically crashes when given a more complex graphics rendering. In fact, the CD supplied with the card contains 3D-graphic demos which you would think would showcase at a minimum, the card's graphic capabilities. NOT - the demos crash my system (Restarts Windows). Technical support is only available between 9 -7 M-F so it's almost impossible to get help for my home computer during work hours. Not to mention they are closed from 12/26 - 1/9/06 (probably to prevent the inundation of complaints and tech calls after Christmas). The Website is absolutely terrible - no help at all. The software supplied isn't for the specific card (it's for their All-in-One Line) so does NOT work at all. In fact, I had to remove the drivers supplied on the CD and on the Website b/c of compatibility problems. The XP driver was more compatible then the ATI supplied one.
Don't waste your money or mental frustration on this one. I will not be purchasing any ATI products in the future.
Pros Its a surprising card that can play Half-Life 2 , Doom 3 and Farcry on medium settings
Cons No Fan No DX9 Support
Pros speed beats my friends BFG Nvidia geforce5500 oc on 3dmark 2001.good options in the display menu.also good 3rd party programs
Cons not a digital vibrance option.no fan,
Pros Inexpensive and fine for games less intense than Half-life 2 or Doom 3.
Cons Lots of trouble running high end FPS games. Screen has so many glitches it looks like an 8mm film of the Kenedy assassination.
