Adobe products can be difficult to upgrade, so I would use Adobe's own uninstaller to remove all traces of Flash Player from your system then re-install.
Uninstall, reboot the computer, (to make sure there are no remnants left), then visit Adobe again to re-install the Flash player.
I hope that helps.
I am running Window XP Home. Lately, I have been having trouble getting any video to play on YouTube. Each time, I get the following message.
Frankly, I'm surprised YouTube reconfigured their system to stream using Flash 9 if they haven't worked out all the bugs with their interface and if they apparently aren't able to provide proper support on their Help site.
Has anyone else had this issue? If so, any suggestions. As you can imagine, I've been working on this for a number of hours and am quite frustrated at YouTube!
