YourDigitalElectronics.com experience

by jggogo / November 14, 2007 2:58 AM PST

Does anyone have any 'hands-on' or know someone who has hands-on experience with a company called YourDigitalElectronics.com. It's showing up on google with the lowest prices for electronics, by far. In looking on their site, they want payment thru Western Union, which is an obvious flag that this is a SCAM. But I really would like to know if anyone has had any experiences or know of anyone who has had , either pro or con, with this company.

Thanks

"payment thru Western Union" = Never go there.

This is an obvious sign it's a scam. Just report it to your state's attorney general and move on.

what are you looking to buy? a lot of times, saving $10 is not worth the trouble of buying from an unknown store.

Hi - looking to purchase 46XBR4 or equivalent (a rather pricey purchase for me.) like I said I know the Western Union payment is a 'scam' flag but I am a person who explores every option. just wanted to know if anybody had done business with them. Worst case is that I highlight them as being a scam operation.

Yes, this is a SCAM

Their Main office is in a motel and there website was just created on 10/31/07.

Here is a western union response to security....

Western Union does not offer an escrow service or any type of "purchase protection" policy. We do not hold the funds until the merchandise is received and/or inspected. Western Union''s business is to transfer funds from a sender to a receiver within minutes. We caution our customers against sending money to people they don''t know. It is the sender''s responsibility to know the party to which the funds are being sent. If a receiver presents proper identification, payment will be made. Using a fictitious name or changing the Receiver name after the Money Transfer has been sent is not a guaranteed means of securing funds. The Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN) is not required for payment. Western Union strongly advises you to report any incident of suspected fraud

So much for my 700....

I feel so foolish falling for this scam site. What's done is done though so now we have to make sure the word gets out. Mark Hachman posted a great story....just wish I'd have done a little more research 1st.
