Wireless PCI Adapter not recognizing all networks

by FOXofOJAI / February 22, 2013 11:30 AM PST

Hi,

Yesterday I booted up my new custom desktop and today I installed my wireless PCI card. The drivers are installed and it recognizes one or two networks in my vicinity, but my home network and probably about 10 more are not showing up. I tried re installing the drivers but that wasn't very much help. I was able to get my network to appear about 50% of the time I searched. I also was able to rarely establish a connection, but the speed was extremely slow and was lost in less than a minute. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

we would need to know what OS you have and what computer specs are as well as the Wireless PCI card that you installed. Do you think that we all have a crystal ball and can read your mind?
