Wireless network connects but won't open web pages!

by dirty_numb / April 1, 2008 7:24 AM PDT

Hi, i have a problem with my wireless connection.
I can use the internet fine on 2 other computers on my network, but one of them connects and won't let me open up web pages in either internet explorer or firefox. I've tried the winsockfix program and it hasn't worked and i've seen other posts like mine talking about the ipconfig in the command line, but i can't understand it. I need someone to apply it directly to my situation. If anyone's willing to help, please get back to me about this as soon as possible. Thank you in advance!

i have the same problem Sad
i'm using win xp sp2 and i have speedtouch thomson st780 router. everything started two days ago.. i will try to explain the situation: so, my msn, gtalk, torrent - is working, but in both firefox and ie7 i can not open most web pages. for an example, i can open google.com and search only one time but i can't open any result. i click on it and the web loads forever.
i have scaned my computer with nod32, spyware doctor and adaware and it is clean. also, i shut down zone alarm and turn off windows firewall but it didn't help.
i can connect to internet and surf web with my laptop with no problem.

i would appreciate your help!

sorry for my bad english :/
