I would appreciate any opinions or advice re: WinPatrol. Both free and PLUS versions. Thanks in advance to anyone willing to reply. It's often difficult to determine what to allow and what to disable without full knowledge of the program and it's
relation to other programs.I've noticed theres been a
free update that claims to give better program definitions.

Hi Ronreina

The free users allow you to view the information within the WinPatrol program. Free users can also view additional info while online if the item you want know is one of the most requests by Plus users.

The Plus users will be able to take advantage of the new Real-time Infiltration Detection. It is a real time "alert" on changes it will detect. Plus users will be able to view more info online for every item they will request.

Hope the above helps.

Light bulbs you shouldn't buy

There are plenty of dimmable LED light bulbs, but make sure you don't buy the ones that flicker when you dial them down.
