Windows Mobile Problem

by 7anshin / January 30, 2011 9:28 AM PST

I'm having problems with two windows mobile devices. My device is a Dell Axim X5 and my wife's is a Ipaq 2215. Both have Windows Mobile 2003. The problem is when we try to send mail with pocket outlook it gets delivered to the drafts folder with an "Invalid message recipients" error.

I found this error to be common but no one seems to have the answer. If I go to the drafts folder and open the message and select the address I see an extra ; at the end of the address for some reason. If I remove that ; it sends.

Anyone know what I can do to fix this problem? It is very annoying as we have to send the message, let it reject, edit and then send again.

Thanks in advance.

I'm left to guess what the recipient field had in it.

One owner thought they could avoid the full name@mail.com address and was letting or trying the old "Person's name" that was in their contact list method.

I'm sure there's a reason for this error but as I can't see the screens and details are missing I'll stop here with the common problem I run into.

Let's say the recipient field is name@mail.com

That's what I type in, when I check the email in the drafts folder it is name@mail.com;

I remove the ; and send it works.

But one reading suggested deleting the partnership and making a new one.
