Question

Windows Live Photo Gallery Screensaver

by iamhereathome / September 17, 2011 12:23 PM PDT
I am using windows live photo gallery screensaver on my windows 7 PC. It plays all photos and videos fine except for MOV formats. It won't play those. Does anyone know if there is a fix for this or could suggest what I might be doing wrong? Thanks.

Very confusing
by iamhereathome / September 21, 2011 11:17 PM PDT

I have found web pages that state that MOV files won't play and others that say they will. I just wish I could find the fine line that make the screensaver work on some machines and not on others.

Confusing indeed.

Now convince yourself by trying it on all Windows 7 PC's you can find (family, friends, work, internet cafe, public library).

Tried it......

Changing the name to *.avi didn't work. So I decided to batch convert the MOV files as someone stated above. Thanks all.
